MC MAKEUP ARTIST was established in 2022 after Magda decided to pursue her passion for the beauty industry and help people to feel empowered through the power of makeup.
Magda is based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, but you can find her services at The Muse Studio, a private home studio, and through mobile services. Magda is learning BSL to be able to accommodate and welcome all customers!
Magda has achieved her certification at VanMakes Academy accredited by Instituto de Emprego e Formação Profissional (IEFP) - Portugal and also accredited at PLouise Academy, accredited by Guild Training International (GTI) for Makeup and Professional Standards for Therapists and ISOCLEAN Hygiene Course for professionals in the makeup industry, Magda is also fully insured by SalonGold.
You can book with MC MAKEUP ARTIST for social and events makeup, 1-on-1 makeup workshops and group workshops, and bridal and bridal party makeup.

Magda was nominated Finalist 2023 in Makeup Artist and Mobile Business of the Year, Service Excellence and Contribution to the Community, by LHB Awards (Lincolnshire Health & Beauty Excellence Awards), and in both categories Makeup Artist of the Year & Best Bridal Individual for Makeup and short-listed District TOP 10 Yorkshire & Humber in both categories, by the HBA (UK Hair and Beauty Awards).
In addition to Makeup, Magda also offers a range of other services in the beauty industry, from pedicures, and massages to lash treatments, fully certified by ABT and insured as well.

I am speechless!
What a crazy night!
It's still hard to believe everything that was achieved so far, in just over 1 year.
The night started as if we were going back to prom, which was so fun! And absolute no expectations on absolutely nothing!
I never really win anything, ever. Which is fine, we all have our time and space, there is always room for improvement. So, being a finalist in any type of Award is already a huge achievement.
Especially, when you realise the enormous amount of other businesses that also apply, the amount of single lives that dedicate their days to their passion and at the end, we all fight for the same.
My little business, opened in May '22 has been qualified for finalist in 6 Awards in total this year, just this is already an incredible achievement on its own. Never in my right mind I thought that I would qualify for 4 just at the #LHBAwards23 much less winning 1 category!
When I applied I was only focusing on Makeup, because I want to assure my future clients that I am worthy of your business.
Makeup itself, demands skill, practice, mentorship, study, all sorts of investment. And running a business involves all the previously mentioned, but also, time, dedication, love for what you do, customer experience and satisfaction, and so much more.
So, to me... Even though, I did not believe that I was going to win anything, and that was alright, maybe winning this specific Award was even better than winning the initial one I was focusing on, because this is MY business, it's MINE!
All the rush and running, to run a business on the side as well as working full-time in a non-beauty related industry, having time for friends and family, my husband... Everyone who supports me and is always there for me... This was so much more than I was even imagining.
